JUDGE MARCO SHINES IN SIBUYAN ISLAND

Magdiwang, Romblon - Justice delayed is justice denied! "Just-tiis" this was the common premise of  a person who wanted justice in a proper time. Logically speaking, they are right because of the scarcity of judges here in our beloved province! Can we blame the Judicial Bar Council or the system itself?

People here in Sibuyan Island praise the so-called dedication of the newly-appointed Regional Trial Court Judge Vidasto R. Marco of Branch 81 by bringing the justice system nearer to the people most especially to the people of Magdiwang,Romblon and San Fernando,Romblon. In Magdiwang,Romblon a volume of celebrated cases was scheduled and heared last first week of May 2003.

The awakening of the sensational cases which mostly of our uneducated and poor kababayans believes that it was already "archieved' proved that RTC Judege Marco deserves to be the right person that can carry the mandate of our Constitution for a speedy trial, says one victim of 'delayed justice' whose name need not to be mentioned. She called 'super-bagal' in serving the summons/subpoena through registered mail.

Despite of the sweet-sour welcome of the ruling party, he is determine to perform to do his job without fear and favor! Observers here are looking if the new Judge will not housed himself in the Guest House of the Provincial Executive Building.

The public outcry of the common tao here is to let the people in the Justice System in the truism, renaissance and logic of justice. The greatest Chinese philosopher, Confucius said: "What you do not like done unto yourself, do not do to others."
